Before you can use the gradebook, you have to set up the assignment categories and grade weights, unless it is already set by the administrator according to school standards.

To set grade weights, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Click on Grade Book on the menu.

Step 2: Click on Subject Options.

Step 3: Click on the Add button of Categories & Grade Weights

Step 4: Add Test Category window will appear.

Step 5: Enter the Category Name.

Step 6: Select the percentage of Grade Weight for the category from the drop down list.

Step 7: Click on the Add button.

Step 8: The added category will appear in the list box.

Step 9: Click on the Submit button.
